SmartShopper Email to Group Officials and Webinar Reminder

Beginning early this week, group officials in the 100+ and 1-99 market segments, including MEWA and Balanced Solutions, will receive an email regarding the newly relaunched SmartShopper program—a tool that helps members compare prices at in-network locations.
The email will include direct links to the employer facing landing page, which features resources that help to build awareness about the program.
If you’d like to learn more about SmartShopper, there will be a webinar on Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. We’ll be discussing tips and tricks on how to use SmartShopper. You can register for the webinar here.
As a reminder, SmartShopper is the topic of our next employer group Lunch and Learn. Emails about this were sent to group officials on Jan. 29. The Lunch and Learn is Feb. 25 at noon.
MedMutual WELL™ Portal Update, Medicare Advantage Outreach

Last year, Medical Mutual introduced MedMutual WELL™, their latest offering designed to support healthier lifestyles. The online portal to access MedMutual WELL is officially live for all Medical Mutual and Paramount Elite members. Further updates for Paramount group and individual members will be shared as soon as they are available.
To access the MedMutual WELL portal, members must register for an account. Over the next week, Medical Mutual is sending emails to (Medical Mutual | Paramount) Medicare Advantage members encouraging them to register for the MedMutual WELL portal and complete a health assessment. Postcards (Medical Mutual | Paramount) will be mailed to all members without an email address on file. This includes new MedMutual Advantage members and all Paramount Elite members.
If you receive questions on how to register for the MedMutual WELL portal, direct members to the appropriate webpages below:
- Medical Mutual: Members can log in to My Health Plan and find the MedMutual WELL portal under the Healthy Living tab (the same location as the previous Wellness Portal).
- Paramount Elite: Paramount Medicare Advantage members can register at
ParamountHealthcare.com/MedMutualWELL.
The MedMutual WELL mobile app is also available to download from the App Store® and Google Play®.
As a reminder, Paramount Elite and MedMutual Advantage members can earn a $50 gift card by completing one of the following activities:
- Annual wellness visit (AWV)
- In-home health assessment (IHA)
After completing a qualifying activity, members can attest to completion in the MedMutual WELL portal.
Note: At this time, the AWV or IHA are the only activities that qualify for the 2026 MA wellness reward. Additional activities may be added later in the year based on program performance. Medical Mutual will share more information as it becomes available.

COSE Benefit Plan Annual Notices Mailing

The annual notice of health benefits will be mailed to all COSE Benefit Plan group officials in early February. As the plan’s sponsor, group officials are responsible for distributing copies of the accompanying member annual notice flyer to all plan participants.
