Three Things for Paramount Members to Remember About Their Health Plans

While Paramount is now part of the Medical Mutual family of companies, there are some things that are not changing for the foreseeable future. Please be sure to share this information with your customers who purchased a Paramount plan.
- Their health insurance plan remains a Paramount plan, and the covered employees are Paramount members.
- Covered employees and their dependents should continue to use their Paramount member ID cards and utilize doctors and hospitals in the Paramount network. To find in-network providers, Paramount members can go to ParamountHealthcare.com/Search.
- Covered members should continue to call the outstanding Paramount Member Services team using the number on their Paramount member ID cards with any questions they may have.
Reminder: Bonus Opportunity for 364-Day Short-Term Policies Written Before Aug. 31

Aug. 31 is the last day to enroll clients in 182-day and 364-day short-term health plans. Beginning Sept. 1, health insurance carriers may only offer short-term health plans in 90-day increments. Please note that while the cut-off date for enrolling clients in 182-day or 364-day policies is Aug. 31, the effective date of those policies may start as late as December 31, 2024.
Medical Mutual offers a bonus of $6 per member per month when you sell at least 10 364-day short-term health policies with effective dates of December 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. For more details, click here.
