Transition to MED, Medical Mutual’s New Employer Platform, Continues
Topic: Broker Relations | Companies: Medical Mutual | Segment: Small Group, 51-99, 100+, MEWA
Medical Mututal previously announced that EmployerLink would sunset on June 16, 2026. However, to help ease the transition from EmployerLink to the MedMutual Employer Dashboard (MED), access to EmployerLink will extend until the full changeover to MED is complete. Medical Mutual looks forward to fully operating within MED, their new, intuitive platform, which features a single login and other enhancements that will help you manage group benefits and administrative tasks.
During the transition, groups can pay their premiums through either MED or EmployerLink, though Autopay/ACH payments must continue to be made through EmployerLink. Once the changeover to MED is complete, Autopay/ACH payments will transition to MED, and EmployerLink will be decommissioned. (Note: For ClaimsLink and ReportLink access, the current process for adding groups will continue.)
Broker data is still in the process of being migrated into MED. Brokers who had group access in EmployerLink previously will be auto-migrated to MED.
Medical Mutual will communicate the updated changeover date to MED/sunset date for EmployerLink once that date is confirmed.

Midsize Group Product Portfolio Update
Topic: Product News | Companies: Medical Mutual | Segment: 51-99
Beginning Oct. 1, 2026, Medical Mutual will introduce a refreshed Midsize 51-99 portfolio, R26, for new and existing groups.
This updated midsize group portfolio creates clearer comparisons and a more consistent strategic narrative while keeping flexibility where employers need it most. All new midsize groups must be quoted from the new midsize portfolio. An updated fully insured midsize brochure with the portfolio changes can be found here.
Major Changes include:
- Benefit adjustments, including MOOP and ER copays.
- The full diabetic supply list has been added on all plans.
- Generic Incentive is now included with MMRx plans.
- Pharmacy has been reduced to one standard Rx plan per network with consistent copay
amounts. That same plan will apply to post-deductible HSA plans where applicable. - Share and HRA are available for all plans with custom benefits request
Standard 51-99
Existing groups may keep their current benefits unless they are requesting benefit changes. Any benefit changes will require a transition to an updated midsize plan. If a group has multiple benefits and wants a benefit change, all products must move to the updated midsize plan. Implementation of updated benefits requires a benefit change submission.
Balances Solutions 51-99
All renewing groups must transition to an updated midsize plan option at their next renewal—no
exceptions. Implementation of these updated benefits requires a benefit change submission.
$0 Deductible & Reducing Deductible Plans
These plans are being discontinued due to a low enrollment rate. No groups are currently enrolled, so
this will not affect any current group.
