Licking Memorial Negotiations Continue; Notices Mailed to Medicare Advantage Members

Medical Mutual continues to participate in active contract negotiations to renew our provider agreement with Licking Memorial Health System for the 2026 plan year. They remain committed to negotiating in good faith to secure the highest value and quality of care for our members.
However, if an agreement cannot be reached before Jan. 1, 2026, Licking Memorial Health System, which includes Licking Memorial Hospital and Licking Memorial Professional Providers, will be removed from all Medical Mutual and Mutual Health Services (MHS) networks.
Required Notifications
On Nov. 14, 2025, Medical Mutual mailed letters to certain Medicare Advantage members as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) who are impacted by this potential change.
On Dec. 1, 2025, if an agreement is not reached, Medical Mutual will proceed to notify the following members:
- All other Medicare Advantage members impacted who were not included in the previous mailing.
- Commercial, ACA, and MHS members in compliance with Ohio Department of Insurance
requirements.
