MedFlex Expands List of Providers in Central Ohio

Medical Mutual is pleased to share that MedFlex is expanding its list of providers in Central Ohio by adding Knox Community Hospital.
Please begin using the updated MedFlex brochure and flyer. Previous versions of this brochure and flyer should be discarded.
Broker Admin Department Now Has a New Name and Email

Medical Mutual’s Broker Admin department is now known as the Broker Commission and Contracting Department.
They are still here to answer any questions you have about commissions and contracting, but please note that their email has changed. We encourage you to update your contact information with their new email: BrokerCommissions@MedMutual.com.
Emails sent to the old address (BrokerAdmin@MedMutual.com) will be forwarded to the new email address (BrokerCommissions@MedMutual.com) for the next 30 days. After the next 30 days, any emails sent to the old address will receive a bounce back message reminding them to send all emails to the new address.
Medical Mutual Plans to Divest Bravo Wellness Over the Course of 2025

Wellness continues to be an important part of Medical Mutual’s strategy and culture. Helping populations and individuals increase the number of preventive care exams they receive, understand their health numbers, identify health risks early, and connect to community services for support is foundational to the organization.
As Medical Mutual evaluated the long-term financial model for using Bravo to provide wellness services to our customers, they came to the difficult decision that the most prudent financial approach is to use an outsourced wellness vendor. Therefore, over the course of 2025, Medical Mutual will divest Bravo Wellness and move to contract with a third-party wellness supplier.
Leaders from Medical Mutual and Bravo are facilitating a market search to find the most strategic wellness vendor. They anticipate finalizing the selection of our new wellness partner in Q4 2024. They are committed to making sure our new partner brings the same strengths as Bravo, along with new features and functionality.
Given the timing of this strategic change, Medical Mutual planned for a significant portion of Bravo’s current resources to service existing customers through the end of 2025. In addition, the Medical Mutual Wellness Team that supports our members remains in place.
