Upcoming Sessions of Continuing Education Ethics Course – Worth 3 CE Credits

The Medical Mutual team will host several sessions of Ethical Digital Communications in the Medicare Industry – Course #10701 in June. The course is worth three credits.

Please note: this course was presented in June of 2025. If you previously attended and are in the same compliance period, you will not receive an additional three credits for this course. If you’re in a new compliance period, this will satisfy your Ethics requirement.

Spring/Summer Healthy Outlooks Releasing to Members

The 2026 spring/summer edition of Healthy Outlooks, our biannual member newsletter, will be digitally distributed to members via email and My Health Plan this week.

Medical Mutual members who have an email address on file and have opted to receive health and wellness information electronically will receive the newsletter via email. All others will receive a printed copy by U.S. Mail in the coming days. The secondary distribution method for each Medical Mutual member population is listed below.

Paramount members with Individual ACA, Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plans who have an email address on file will receive the newsletter electronically. All others will receive a printed copy by U.S. Mail. While the topics mirror those in the Medical Mutual version, the Paramount edition features distinct branding and content tailored to highlight Paramount-specific benefits and experts.

SaveOnSP Updates and Pharmacy Benefit Changes Effective July 1

Twice each year, adjustments may be made to prescription drug formularies and drug lists based on changes in the market.

SaveOnSP Updates

Various updates have been made to SaveOnSP Drug Lists with Express Scripts that will be effective July 1, 2026. These changes will have minimal impact on our groups and members. This letter will be sent to inform members of any steps that need to be taken for medications being removed from the SaveOnSP drug list.

July 1 Formulary Updates with Express Scripts

Updates to the Basic/Basic Plus, National Preferred and ACA Advantage formularies with Express Scripts will be effective July 1, 2026. A letter (see example here) is being sent to inform members of any steps that need to be taken. Medications on the lists below will change categories as noted (i.e., moving costshare tiers, being excluded from coverage):
