SDC Network Expanding June 1, 2026
Topic: Network Updates | Companies: Medical Mutual, Mutual Health Services | Segment: Individual, Small Group, 51-99, 100+, MEWA
On June 1, 2026, the SDC network will expand to enhance access and choice for all individual and group commercial dental members, including SDC group dental, Medical Mutual group and individual dental, and Mutual Health Services groups with an SDC plan. This growth will add more than 65,000 nationwide access points to the 550,000 offered today.
This expansion does not apply to Medicare Advantage plans that access the SuperDental MA network.
No disruption is expected for members, as there are no changes to existing SDC network providers. All plan benefits and specifications remain the same, including claims processing and customer service support.
Medical Mutual and Mutual Health Services members with a MedMutual Dental or SDC dental plan can view the expanded selection of participating dentists and specialists at https://providersearch.medmutual.com or through their My Health Plan account. SDC standalone members can use the Find-A-Dentist tool at SuperiorDental.com/Find-A-Dentist or through the SDC mobile app
The Maximum Care logo, which is the national network identifier for the SDC network, will be replaced by the Maximum Care PPO Plus Connection Dental Network logo on the back of ID cards for all members enrolled in a commercial individual or group dental plan. The updated cards will be distributed beginning June 1, 2026 for new groups, existing groups making a benefit change, and members requesting replacement ID cards. All other impacted members will receive the updated ID card at their next renewal.
